The 9th Conference of Chinese Neurology, a Success
The 9th Conference of Chinese Neurology, sponsored by the Chinese Medical Doctor Association (CMDA) and the China Neurologist Association, took place on June 24, 2016, in Chongqing, China. The conference focused on the latest research and promoted new developments in neuroscience. Two Editors of Neuroimmunology and Neuroinflammation (NN) attended the conference under the lead of Professor Gang Zhao, the Editor-in-Chief of NN.
This conference attracted more than 12,000 participants and covered topics relevant to clinical diagnoses and professional skills in neurology. As one of the invited speakers of this conference, Zhao briefly introduced the purpose, history, and status of NN, including changes in publication frequency and the publication process. Zhao also welcomed questions from international participants, with most offering high praise for the future of NN and indicating they would contribute manuscripts and promote the journal among peers. The participants also expressed confidence and encouragement to editorial staff.
The editorial staff of NN learned about new techniques, progress in the field, and current research in neuroimmunology and neuroinflammation. The staff hope that NN will provide a valuable bridge between research and medical application and serve even more professionals. Under the guidance of Professor Gang Zhao, we believe that NN will become a professional, innovative, and preeminent international journal.
