NN Editors Attended the Conference of Neurology

The Conference of Neurology, sponsored by the Chinese Medical Association (CMA), took place during August 22-25, 2015, in Xi’an, China. This conference reported on research outcomes and trends and promoted the exchange of ideas in the field of neurology. Almost 3,600 experts in neurology from China and abroad were invited to present on topics ranging from infectious disease in the neurological system, to cerebrospinal fluid cytology, and clinical and general research in neurology. On August 22, 2015, two Editors of Neuroimmunology and Neuroinflammation (NN) attended the conference led by Professor Gang Zhao, the Editor-in-Chief of NN. As one of the chairpersons of this conference, Zhao briefly introduced the purpose, history, and current state of NN, including changes in its publication frequency and process. Zhao also welcomed questions from international participants, with most offering high praise for the future of NN and indicating they would contribute manuscripts and promote the journal among peers. The participants also expressed confidence and encouragement to editorial staff. The editorial staff of NN learned about new techniques, progress in the field, and current research in neurology. The editorial staff recognizes the critical responsibility and mission of the journal in research development and hopes NN will serve even more neuroimmunology and neuroinflammation professionals. Under the guidance of Professor Gang Zhao, NN will continue to be a rigorous and acclaimed international journal.
