Special Issue Introduction

Abnormalities in immune-mediated processes are heavily involved in cancer. In this Special Issue, it investigated the role of altered immunity in various neurological cancers such as decreased numbers of mature dendritic cells in glioblastoma patients as well as the correlation between IgE levels and prognosis in patients with brain tumors. In addition, it discussed the potential influence of integrins in the malignant behavior of glioblastoma and application of novel therapies such as oncolytic viruses for their treatment.
